A snippet about haircuts...

So Ronan has more hair than most of the babies we've met. It's super-soft, shiny and fine. Most of the time it looks dark brown like Papa's, but in the sun it has this warm brown glow. He was born with loads of it (Doc: "WOW, he's got a lot of hair." Gen: "That's nice. Now get him out of me!") that quickly formed a wavy mohawk in the first couple of months. It was so long that it actually started to dread in the back because we never brushed it. Soft with great body... His hair is any girl's dream! But alas... after almost 6 months, he was growing really shaggy and his sideburns were creeping toward his chin -- so it was time for a cut. We knew nothing about chopping hair, but we thought how hard could it be? :-) Well, it took two of us several tries over a whole day to get his hair looking respectable. It's hard to cut hair! And with Ronan flinging his head this way and that (laughing and saying "MUH MUH MUH") it felt like we were trying to trim a wild colt. I think we did okay in the end. He looks like such a little BOY in these pics... no longer my little wild baby! Lisa thinks we should gel his mohawk back into place.
