Ready... (football stance)

Set.... (jumping the gun a little)

Go!

Sliding into the end zone

We think this will be a common view for us from now on...

Ronan was a very helpful gift wrapper. He unwound ALL the ribbon for us.

He also took great pleasure in slapping the gifts and petting (and yanking) the bows... to make sure everything was nice and secure!

Funny faces for the camera

On Christmas Eve Grandma Kathy came over and we feasted on home-made lasagne, a gourmet salad, and berry pie. Then I laid down on the couch to cough my lungs out. It's really not fun being sick on Christmas, but it's decidedly much worse to be sick on Christmas and not have the energy to play with a beautiful baby boy who wants to climb all over you and lick your face.
As most of these pictures will show from now on, nine-month-olds won't sit still for pictures (did he ever?). We have to distract him with something to gnaw on, and his chew-toys of choice lately have been BOOKS. He loves his "Is Your Mama a Llama?" book (above) and has almost chewed off both covers. We try to read to him every night, but what to do when he wants to eat all his books?? Get multiple copies??
