Next big challenge lately: diaper changes. We have friends whose little ones calmly lie back and play with their hands while getting changed. Not so with darling Mr. Ro! He is ALL OVER THE PLACE -- squriming and twisting and trying with all his might to get off the changing table and onto the floor. If it wasn't so darn exhausting for us, it would be really amusing to watch him throw these little fits. Even our distractionary measures (giving him, oh, paper towels and lotion bottles to play with) aren't really working anymore. He takes one look at them and tosses them on the floor behind the dresser. Poor little guy, he has another YEAR at least of being in diapers.... Maybe we should start changing him in front of the TV! (haha, just kidding -- as everyone knows our TV barely works and is hardly on, so how fun could that be?)
On the upside, he's still a super-playful bunny and a super-champ sleeper -- 12-13 hrs/night straight with two solid naps from 8-9:30 and 2-4. Clearly, it's b/c he's so active all day... Bouncing around the house, screeching and laughing, chasing Lisa, banging on the windows, pulling ALL the kitchen stuff off the shelves and onto the floor... you know, being a cute, formidable little tasmanian devil. He's got two modes -- on and off -- and when he's done being on, he crashes out cold. We're soooo thankful for that!!

He looks so chunky here in his I Love Mommy tee. This is before his last haircut.

Peeking up through the window in the stroller. He never sleeps in the stroller, unlike many babes. He's always wide awake, staring intently at all the activity around him!

Ronan in Golden Gate Park, playing with his new bouncy ball. He looks so old here, even though this was taken when he was barely 10 months! Is it the shoes?

Another sock paw pic.... This time he's crawling in Grandma Kathy's new house.
