Yesterday, August 15, at the ripe old age of 16.5 months, Ronan stood up, walked across the living room, made a turn, and ambled into the dining room. It was like the "walking switch" had been flipped on, and just like that he became a walker.
Today, his second day of real walking, he's trying new things like walking with his shoes on, and carrying his drink, the remote, the phone, or his wooden spoon.
Not a bad way to celebrate Mom and Dad's 9th year anniversary of the day we first met -- August 16, 1997, in the drawing studio at Dartmouth... :-)
