Deciphering Ronan-speak

Ronan enjoyed his five-day break from Mom and Dad, thanks to his loving grandma Kathy. He walked, he ran, he fell, he slept, he learned to say "Up!", he demolished a home-cooked chicken, and he waved to pictures of his parents as he ate his meals. In all, he had a great time! (Christian and I had a great time, too, in Maui. More to come.)

Ronan's current vocabulary is something like this:

Oh
Wow
Up
Eeee (I see that!)
Oooo (I want that!)

He combines these words with many other babbling sounds and signs (More, Diaper, Hot, Bath, Peek-a-boo) to form his own enthusiastic language that we're getting better at understanding. He also has a "reading voice" that he reserves specifically for reading books aloud to himself - soooo cute!
