On Saturday night the Weathers came over for dinner, playtime, and good fun. Ronan is in his "mine" stage right now, which Jen Weathers so graciously called "age appropriate." :-) It meant that Ronan got very anxious and upset whenever sweet Dylan came near his toys and cars. He even got upset when Dylan went near Dylan's toys and cars. Despite Ronan's angst, the two boys were absolutely adorable together. They even held hands, by Ronan's insistent (forceful) design. Dylan was a good sport and will be able to teach our little bug a lot in the future. We had a great time, too, with Dylan's mom and dad!
Ronan has yet to learn the "subtle" approach to handholding. When he wants to hold your hand and you don't comply, he stamps his foot, lets out an insistent whine, and grabs your hand and places it in his. Then he's happy!
He's very serious about holding on to his friends!
