Family walk at Lands End in SF -- Mama, Papa, Ronan, and....

Daddy and Ro

Whoa, who is that little man?!
Last Saturday we took Ronan to Kids Cuts in the Mission for his first proper haircut. Two years of us cutting his hair every few months was NOT resulting in even, neat locks. I can't say he loved getting his hair cut, but afterwards he talked a lot about his "nice" "hair stylist" named "Bonnica" (Veronica), who used the buzzer, scissors, and comb to give him his little man 'do! Afterwards we treated him to ice cream at Bi-Rite Creamery. Ronan had Vanilla, Daddy had Brown Butter Pecan, and Mom had Salted Caramel. It's seriously the best ice cream we've ever had.

Later that day we went to visit Anna & Bryan and their twins Vasco & Lola in sunny Orinda. Ronan loved the pool, his Spidey water wings, and playing "ball ball" (basketball) with the big boys.

On Sunday we visited the newly opened, HUGE Koret Children's Playground near our house. The original playground was supposedly the first public playground in the country! The new one is massive with several slide/tunnel structures, a tall web-like climbing structure, lots of sand and water, and a whole hillside where you can slide down chutes while sitting on cardboard. Daddy was hesitant to let Ronan scale the spiderweb structure so we stuck to digging in the sand and riding the slides!
