Busy birthday weekend

Christian flew home from London on his birthday and we celebrated with a family-friendly meal of marinated chicken and beef skewers, strawberries, corn, and lemon cake! Our goal was for all four of us to be part of the festivities, but the youngest Bennett has been checking out early... Come 5:30 pm, he was asleep for the evening. The boys (with a lot of help) gave Daddy a nice bottle of Turley petite syrah, which has prompted him to want to buy a wine fridge.

Two days later, we dropped Ronan off at Grandma Kathy's house and drove with Callum up to Tahoe for a friend's wedding at Squaw. Despite heavy smoke on the way up, the wedding location itself had clear skies. Callum let it be known that though he is a mellow guy, he can only be pushed so far. After not napping all day, he started to unravel at the reception so Mama and Callum had an early night!

Now, Daddy is off to NYC again for work. We miss you!

Uncle Dale gave Callum this onesie that reads: "If I don't sleep, nobody sleeps." It's perfect for him.

Brotherly love
