We had our one-month doctor's visit today! Ronan did so well. He actually fell asleep on the way to the hospital (instead of his usual fretful crying) and he didn't scream when the doctor examined him. Wow - progress! This month's vitals:
Weight: 11 lbs, 1 oz (75th percentile)
Height: 23 inches (90th percentile)
He's our long, muscular little baby!
For the past two weeks, Ronan's had a rash on his face... We thought it was infant acne, but the doctor thinks it's heat rash instead. I guess we've been bundling him up too much! Tonight we'll try just one layer or just a diaper, and swaddle him like that. Another possible cause for the rash is infant eczema (atopic dermatitis), which is a bit harder to treat. We just hope he's not too uncomfortable....
