Callum turned six months old on July 29. He's a sweet, happy baby who loves to be held and adores watching his older brother jump and scamper and dance all around him. At six months, Callum is learning to sit up on his own. He's a masterful roller and gives himself tummy time every chance he gets. He bounces vigorously in our laps and makes heavy breathing sounds, to go with his flapping arms, when he's excited (which is pretty often). He loves to stand. He makes lots of "ohhh" and "guhhh" sounds, along with an impressive repertoire of shrieks and squeals. I'm very pleased that Callum is a steady nurser, and I treasure the tranquil moments when he stares into my face, smiling.
We took Callum to a new pediatrician for his well-baby check-up. He was only minimally upset with the shots and went right back to his sweet self within a few minutes.
Here are his stats:
Weight: 18 pounds (60%)
Height: 26.5 inches (40%)
