Look what the Easter Bunny brought...

We celebrated Ronan's unofficial birthday with his first Easter egg hunt, in our very own back yard. He had a great time donning his yellow boots and garden gloves, and exclaiming, "Let's go look for some eggs!" We decided that once in a while a handful of candy isn't so bad so we put a small jelly bean or a chocolate in each egg. Ronan's sugar high lasted all morning (and he's not exactly a low-energy child). ;-)

Later that day, we hosted our immediate Jeong family for Easter lunch, just a week after moving in. It gave us a reason to power through our unpacking and make the house presentable! People brought the most amazing food: pasta salad with prosciutto, fruit salad, oxtail, teriyaki chicken, ham, mushrooms, a dream cake and more. Our contribution was a baked french toast casserole. Ronan ran around until he crashed from exhaustion in the afternoon. Callum stayed awake for most of the party and enjoyed getting passed from family member to family member.

Ronan sometimes mixes up his "l's" and "y's" so he says, "I'm yooking for some Easter eggs."

There's one!

And another!

Showing his loot

The Bennett boys on Easter morning. Callum was sporting two Easter egg shells (one in this pic), a la Madonna. Funny, funny Daddy...

Ronan's "camera smile"

Ronan took this shot of his own shadow.

This is a cute pic from one of our first Palo Alto family dinners, at a diner called the Creamery. Ronan insisted that we both sip out of the same lemonade.

And back in SF a week ago... Grandma Kathy and I did some final cleaning up of our old Kirkham Street house. We'll show Callum pics of his first (very brief) home one day!
